1. General

1.1 YZPSL serial water-cooling high temperature resistant motors were the internal circulation water-cooling frequency control three-phase asynchronous motors designed and developed on the basis of the frequency control motor series and according to the requirements of site operation conditions for metallurgical continuous casters. They apply in high-temperature environment and the system of speed control by frequency variation, characterized by wide speed adjustable range, stable operation, high reliability, high operating efficiency, novel and nice design，. These series obtain practical new mode patent and the patent No is : 200620123330.0。

1.2 The series have the unique cooling system that can ensure stable operation, high temperature and high humidity resisting quality, anti-corrosive property, etc. of the motor during long running at very high environmental temperature.

1.3 YZPSLE serial water-cooling electromagnetic braking variable-frequency motors are fabricated by adding friction dry type electromagnetic power lost brakes at the non-driving ends of water-cooling variable-frequency motors. There are two types of the brakes: power-off brake and power-on brake. The working voltage for power lost braking is DC170V or DC24V. If the working voltage is DC170V, the external power source should be AC380V; if the working voltage of the rectifier attached to the motor is 24V, the external power source should be DC24V (provided by the users themselves).

1.4 The serial motors will be in continuous speed-adjusting operation within the range of 3-100Hz; while in constant torque operation within the range of 3-50Hz and in constant power operation within the range of 50-100Hz. They are widely applied in high temperature, high humidity and anti-corrosive environment in metallurgical industry and chemical industry and on the various mechanical equipment requiring continuous speed adjustment and frequent positive-negative rotation, able to be used as a component part of the various domestic and foreign variable-frequency devices.

1.5 As for the windings of the serial motors’ stators, the insulation is H degree while protection is IP55.

1.6 The serial motors will be in normal operation at the places with the sea-level elevation not over 1,000 m and the ambient air temperature not over 60℃.

1.7 The hydraulic pressure of the cooling water should not be over 0.6Mpa; the water quality should be equal to that of the common tap water without any suspending impurities, if there is any, the water should be filtered before using; and during the operation of the motor, the water circuit should be kept smooth.

1.8 The serial motors have two water pipe connections: inlet and outlet, with the specification of 1/2″for the caliber.

1.9 Installation of the motors: During the installation of B5, the pipe connection on the flange end cover is for the water inlet pipe and should be at the lower place, the pipe connection on the back end cover is for the water outlet pipe and should be at the upper place. During vertical (V1) installation, the flange end cover is for water inflow while the back end cover is for water outflow. During inverted suspension-type (V3) installation, the back end cover is for water inflow and the flange end cover is for water outflow.

1.10 Basic mode of the serial frequency control motors:
