1. General Description
Y, YKK, YKS series (6KV) high-voltage three-phase asynchronous motors (Frame Size: 355~630) are the latest series products in the nineties and they are developed and manufactured by our company which based on introducing and adsorbing foreign manufacturing technology of high-voltage, in addition, they are developed by combining with our company's rich experience in design and manufacture of the long-term stable series products especially the high-voltage three-phase induction electric motors.
This series of motors adopt new technique, new material, new technology, well-selected materials and excellent quality, they have many merits such as lightweight, compact construction, big power, high efficiency, low noise, small vibration, safe and reliable operation and convenient maintenance.
This series of motors accord with China National Standard GB755 <<electric rotating machinery-Rating and Performance>>, Industry Standard JB/T7593 <<technical conditions for the Y Series high-voltage three-phase induction motors (Frame Size: 355-630)>>, JB/T10315.1 <<technical conditions for the YKS, YKS-W YQF Series high-voltage three-phase induction motors (Frame Size: 355-630)>>, JB/T10315.2 <<technical conditions for the YKK, YKK-W Series high-voltage three-phase induction motors (Frame Size: 355-630)>>, and International IEC Standard. Each component of the mechanical dimension and tolerance meet the corresponding National Standard and International Standard.
This series of motors also could be manufactured into the following types: humid tropics type, dry tropics type, outdoor type, outdoor medium-anticorrosion type and outdoor humid tropics type.
This series of motors can be used to drive many kinds of general machinery, such as compressors, water pumps, crushers, cutting machine tools, conveying machineries and many other mechanical equipments, moreover, they could also be used as driver in industrial and mining enterprises such as mine, mechanical industry, petrochemical industry, power plant.

Cooling system: IC01, IC611 or C81W
Mounting arrangement: IMB3.

Altitude: An altitude is not exceeding 1000 meters above sea level
Duty type: Continuous (S1)
Ambient condition: indoor, outdoor (W), humid tropics (TH), outdoor humid tropics (THW)
4. Construction Features
This series of motors adopt box structure which popular in the world, the frame, end shield and some other parts of the motors are welded with steel plate, therefore this series of motors have the merits of lightweight and good rigidity. In addition, observation, installation, and maintenance can be done easily after taking down coolers.
The basic series motors is Y series, the protection degree is IP23, some different products with different cooling system and protection types are also available by adding some components on the basis of Y series.
High-voltage terminal boxes are seal structure and the protection degree is IP54 or IP55, they are usually located at the right side of the motors (viewing from drive end). The terminal boxes are also could be placed on the left side of the motors according to different customer requirements, the entrance hole of the box where to put the wire towards the bottom, in addition, there has separate earthing terminal inside and outside of the terminal box.
Stators of this motor series adopt three external pressure assembly constructions, including hoisting, sliding or pressing. Stator windings are provided class F insulation, applied with Vacuum-pressure impregnated (VPI) technique, and adopt magnetic slot wedge, reliable fixation and binding measures are available on the top. Many merits thus could be seen such as good and reliable insulation performance, high mechanical strength, strong moisture resistance as well as safe and reliable operation.
The rotor is squirrel cage structure. After high precision balancing verification, the motors can run smoothly with small vibration. Moreover, the motors are equipped with a cylindrical shaft extension; they also can be changed to double extensions according to customer request.
The bearing structure could be selected according to different power and speed, one is rolling bearing and the other one is sleeve bearing. For rolling bearing, oiling devices without stopping the motors are equipped and it can be added grease regularly so that better maintenance of the motors could be achieved. For sleeve bearing, it is spherical sleeve bearing, it adopts force-feed lubrication, oil ring self-lubrication or combined type lubrication, besides, measures of removing shaft current is also adopted.

Remarks:
1. The motors with power 2000kw and above have their auxiliary terminal on the left of the motor
2. For some motor with the rolling bearing, it can be supplied with self-lubricated system.
3. The dimension in bracket is for 2-poles motors, and that with underline for 4-poles motors. If there is only a double digits, the one without bracket is the dimension for the motors beyond 2-poles.
4. For the dimensions in diagonal, the upper one is that of Y and YKS series motors and the below one is YKK series motors.
5. The dimension (229)* is 6KV, (301) is 10KV.

Mounting and overall dimensions of series Y, YKK, YKS (6KV, 10KV) high-voltage three-phase induction motors (frame size: 355~630)
Remarks:
1. The motors with power 2000kw and above have their auxiliary terminal on the left of the motor
2. For some motor with the rolling bearing, it can be supplied with self-lubricated system.
3. The dimension in bracket is for 2-poles motors, and that with underline for 4-poles motors. If there is only a double digits, the one without bracket is the dimension for the motors beyond 2-poles.
4. For the dimensions in diagonal, the upper one is that of Y and YKS series motors and the below one is YKK series motors.
5. The dimension (229)* is 6KV, (301) is 10KV.
