I. Overview

YBEJ series explosion-proof electromagnetic brake three-phase asynchronous motors 63~355 are fully enclosed, fan-cooled, squirrel-cage three-phase asynchronous motors with additional disc friction type de-energized DC electromagnetic brakes. It has the characteristics of rapid braking, accurate positioning, simple structure, convenient use, and easy maintenance. It is widely used in various machines that require quick stop, accurate positioning and reciprocating transportation to prevent sliding.

This series of motors are suitable for electric driving in underground coal mines (non-excavation working faces) and workplaces containing sexual gas mixtures in factories.

The explosion-proof properties of this series of motors comply with GB3836.1-2000 "Electrical Equipment for Sexual Gas Environment Part 1: General Requirements" and GB3836.2-2000 "Electrical Equipment for Sexual Gas Environment Part 2: Flameproof "d"" According to the standard, they are made into explosion-proof ExdIIAT4 and ExdIIBT4 respectively.
